The problem

What we set out to solve

Developers need a focused space to ask, answer, and rank solutions — but rolling secure auth, a reputation system, and real-time discussion into one app is non-trivial. The aim was a Stack-Overflow-style platform that felt fast and trustworthy.

The approach

What I built

  1. 01

    Secure auth

Engineered login, email, and OAuth authentication for the platform, gating posting, answering, commenting, and up/down-voting behind verified accounts.

  2. 02

    Q&A + reputation

Built the full Q&A loop — posting, answering, commenting, and up/down-voting — with a reputation-tracking system that rewards quality contributions.

  3. 03

    Scalable architecture

Server-side-rendered with Next.js, Appwrite for backend services, Zod for schema validation, and Zustand for state management.

The outcome

What it delivered

OAuth
+ email verification
Reputation
Quality-ranked answers
SSR
Next.js + Appwrite

Next.js · Appwrite · Zod · Zustand · OAuth
